 Fahima 30 a trained field worker has regular counseling session with adolescent girls at Nizum Dwip, an isolated island under Hatiya upazila. This island regular suffers with high maternal death and child death including many health hazards.

 Julekha 25 lived under open Sky in embankment slopes at Hatiya Island which was risky for cyclone and tidal surge. Julekha enrolled as DUS member as hard core poor. Through DUS active support she has been allocated with Govt. Khas land. She now grows plenty of vegetables in her land and earns Tk.2500 monthly. She has been supported with tk.10000 as hard core poor loan.

 Ilu Rani 50 is an widow, joined DUS as field worker. She has organized 350 distressed women in 15 samity. Each member has TK.50 weekly savings. Her turnover is about BDT 200,000 per month as loan investment. Most of her members are involve in agricultural acti8vities.

 Landless Kalam age 42 has got one and half acre Govt. khas land through long movement with DUS at Boyer Char,Hatiya.Through DUS technical and financial support he can raise 50000 plants in a year. Kalam lost his property and assets due to river bank erosion in Hatiya Island. Kalam has been supported with Tk. 23000 loan support from PKSF to raise his nursury. He earns tk. 40,000 in a year.

 Land less Basantee age 30 recently allocated with one and half acre khas land following long struggle with DUS movement .DUS supports enables her to grow variety of vegetables around her homestead. Through PKSF support she has been provided with Tk.10000 for vegetable production at homestad. Basantee now earns 3000 BDT per month
