DUS has taken initiative to poromote soyabin production as alternative cash crop in coastal islands follwing climatic hazard in this year. A pilot scheme has been designed to cover 1000 farmers who will taken under intensive training program for soyabin cultivation. Number of farmer field visit also incorporated along with GOB agriculture extension service to implement the program at Horni, Charbata and Char Jabbar under Noakhali district. Ten lac taka has been allocated under seasonal loan program of DUS for this purposes.
